The HID Fargo HDP5000 printer is one of the most affordable indirect technology (retransfer) printers currently available on the market. It’s also extremely efficient and optimized in every aspect. Due to its ease of operation, operator training is minimal. Using the cartridge system, cards, ribbons and laminating ribbons are loaded with literally a click.

In fact, thanks to its process in which it prints a negative image on the underside of the HDP film and then fuses the film to the surface of the card, it creates an image with a quality similar to that of a sharp photo on glossy paper and not that of an ordinary ID badge.

Equipped with the printer’s Color Assist color-matching tool, included in the Workbench Diagnostic Utility, it helps businesses achieve exactly the desired spot colors for the accurate printing of graphics, such as company logos.
